Sting Ray City Snorkel

We do not offer trips to the Sting Ray City locations. However, we will be happy to assist you to find operators that do.

The Cayman Islands have been gifted with two locations where you can interact with Southern Sting Rays. Both places can only be reached by boat as they are about 6 miles from the shore, within the North Sound.

One location is known as the Sand Bar and is very shallow (about 3 feet). The other location is the well reknown Sting Ray City. It has been made famous by the National Geographic Magazine and it is about 10 feet deep.

This is the location prefered by Scuba Divers although snorkelers can have a blast too.

1st Rate Dive Operator

Did a 2 Tank dive with Don Foster's in Grand Cayman on March 21, 2013. It was an excursion off the Carnival Conquest. This is a great dive operator, highly recommended. They took us to Eagle's nest reef and Wildlife reef. Visibility was about 90 ft and the coral was incredible. We saw a spotted eagle ray, barracuda, queen anglefish, sea turtles....
